BIG little

That's right everybody, one of the best nights to be an Alpha Xi Delta is Big Little night, and this one was awesome! The older girls got to watch our new recruits fallow the clues to their new bigs, and I know everyone is ecstatic to have some new additions to their families.

First up, let's see some photos of our new little birds walking around and looking for clues!

Speaking of birds, Emily Miner spent the evening hunting down her flamingo clues. That's a lot of pink.

 Amanda Nielson was sporting some awesome rabit ears and rockin necklaces as she went on the hunt for her big.

 There are a lot of DUCKIES! New to the duck family are Heather, Sydney, Jenna, Alanna F, and    Chelsea M!

 Here are the lovely FISHES. Their two new amazing additions are Ashley and Emily Miner.

 Finally, the White TEDDY BEAR family! The new cuddly members here are Amanda N and Alanna B.

The Night was super fun for everyone. We are so happy for our new members, their bigs, and their families.

Xi Presence

Alpha Xi Delta is making their presence known here on Bethany Campus! Our new goal is to support our school by having sisters at every event we can possibly attend weather it be sports, theater, or even a club event. The most amazing improvement has been athletic event attendance this year. All the sisters have been working hard to cheer on the Bison during all their games. 

 Our lovely ladies have been to basketball games, including our victory in the PAC championship game!

Here the birds are cheering on the men's tennis team even in the chilly weather.

 

A sport that has become popular for Alpha Xi Delta this year is Lacrosse, and we love going to hang out with Phi Kappa Tau as they support their brothers. 

These are just a few photos of the events we've been at this year, and we will continue to be a big presence on campus next year too. Now, not only did Xi presence inspire us to go to games, but we also got to get together and bond as sisters. This year we started having "Rose Dates". Our names were picked from a hat and then we went on dates with sisters we may not get to see on a regular basis. It was a great way to change things up and bring us closer together as sisters! 

Travel

The sisters of Alpha Xi Delta are usually seen up on Greek hill here on Bethany Campus in West Virginia. However, or birdies never stay in one place for long and this spring break saw a lot of our sisters spreading their wings and traveling all over the world!

 Not only Alpha Xi Delta, but also members of Phi Mu and Zeta Tau Alpha made the long trip to Puerto Rico over break! Everyone is showing their Greek Pride! Way to go girls.

I'm sure you can guess where this next photo was taken. It's amazing to see our symbol under the beautiful lights of the Eiffel Tower.

It was an amazing spring break for some of our sisters, but we are glad they are all back safe and sound on Bethany Campus. I can't wait to see where our sisters go in the future.

New Prints are out!

The new Sorority 2012 Lilly Pulitzer prints were revealed today!

The design includes our colors, double blue and gold, our pink rose, our quill, our crest, and our letters! The design is amazing for any Alpha Xi Delta girl. Thanks to the sisters who voted for the sorority online and thank you Lilly for the great new print!

 This past Friday the sisters of Alpha Xi Delta spent some bonding time together down at the local park. The afternoon was filled with games, hugs, and just plain old good times.

And all of this was planned by Jocelyn Liberatore! Thank you so much for an fun filled afternoon with all of our sisters.
